- Please tell the group about your work in education
- I work at EdComs, a consultancy that creates free educational programmes to engage young people and teachers. Within this we work closely with our audience to find the strategies and approaches that will best suit them.
- Briefly, in what ways do you presently use the internet in an education context?
- I have been part of the team behind the creation of many well received and high quality educational websites (a recent eg. http://www.teachernet.gov.uk/yourjusticeyourworld. I am now exploring social media to see how we can further encourage teachers to benefit from what EdComs produces. (It's all free!)
- What do you wish to get out of participating in edonis over the next 3 years?
- An idea of how teachers use social networks on the web and what added value EdComs could provide.
