- Please tell the group about your work in education
- I lecture at Moray House School of Education (Edinburgh University) on the initial teacher education programmes in design and technology education.
- Briefly, in what ways do you presently use the internet in an education context?
- I regularly access resources on the internet to support my teaching and, where possible, encourage my students to experiment and make use of the large and ever-growing web toolkit available for their own teaching. Currently, the majority of my students and I share online resources using delicious and this year I am encouraging my undergraduates to maintain a 'visual diary' on flickr as part of their product design studies.
- What do you wish to get out of participating in edonis over the next 3 years?
- Inspiration! I also hope to share ideas and hear about new developments.
