- Please tell the group about your work in education
- I graduated from Moray House in 1994 with a B.Ed (Hons) Degree. I have recently achieved full Chartered Teacher status. I am presently seconded from my post in the Primary sector as an ICT Curriculum Support Officer for my Local Authority.
- Briefly, in what ways do you presently use the internet in an education context?
- During my secondment, I am responsible for Online learning. I provide CPD courses (both online and offline) to enable teaching staff to access, and use, web 2.0 tools to improve learning and teaching.
- What do you wish to get out of participating in edonis over the next 3 years?
- I hope to meet other practitioners who are interested in improving learning and teaching through the use of ICT. I also hope to add to my own CPD portfolio as a result of participating.
